Ladies of Hope - Mother's Day Luncheon

On Saturday, May 12th, there will be a Ladies of Hope luncheon in honor of Mother's Day.

Brinda Caldwell-Ramsey will be speaking on the topic of "The Oil of a Queen" at this catered luncheon. Zoe's Kitchen will be the caterer, and the cost will be $10.50 per plate for children and adults. For children who may not like the catered meal, pizza will be provided as an alternative.

To reserve your place and receive a ticket, place cash or check into a tithe envelope and specify Ladie's Luncheon on the front. Make sure to include your name and return the envelope to Angela Chapman, Donna Roberts, or Tammy Zimmerman by May 9th.

Kevin D. Chapman is the Lead Pastor of the West Asheville Church of God in Asheville, North Carolina. He comes to us having served as the Lead Pastor of the Adel Church of God, Associate Pastor at the West Ward Street Church of God in Douglas, Georgia. Pastor Kevin has also served as senior pastor in Saint Louis, Missouri for six

years. Prior to his pastoral service he served in youth ministry for five years, as well as held speaking engagements at various meetings and conferences. Pastor Kevin is currently working on his B.A. in Church Administration from Lee/Patten University. “My wife and I, as well as our two boys, are overjoyed at the opportunity to serve the West Asheville Church of God. We look forward to ministering to and with you as we share the Gospel to the city of Asheville and fulfill the Great Commission. There is a joy in sharing the Gospel with non-believers and seeing believers growing more like Christ as we work through difficulties, challenges, and changes together. I am here to serve this church body as well as the community. My passion is to train Christians in skilled servant work by working within Christ's body, the church. The West Asheville Church of God has a rich tradition and heritage. I am humbled and honored to continue this storied tradition and continuing the ministry of the Church for as many years as the Lord gives me here on earth. There have been many feats and accomplishments through the forbearers of the West Asheville Church of God. However, I am confident that now is the time to begin making more memories and winning more souls for the Kingdom.”
